Using Mail to attach files from a folder

I am a new at applescripting. I have created the odd very basic script, and now have come stuck on this one.

What I am trying to do is to have a folder on a OSX mac which has a folder action attahed to it.
When a file or files is placed in it, I want Mail to launch take these items and email them to a email address which will never change.
So far my script does bring in the name or names of the files in the folder, but does not attach these files, although if I as to attach the folder with these files in, then it does this and emails the files, but in the folder, which is totally the opposite of what I want. If anyone can help, that would be great. :?

Since posting this, and using some fantastic advice from the BBS, i have a script which attaches a file and sends via email. All i need to do now is to remove the file from the watches folder, once the email has been sent. Any ideas. :?:
