Want to save clipboard

I’ve been going the UI route to save clipboard images via Preview. I’ve been able to name them and set their quality in AS, but I can’t get through the Save As dialog to nested folders unless I preselect one before running the script.

I posted a snippet elsewhere, but I thought I should just ask, is there an easier way than UI?

I just want to save the Clip board contents as a jpeg of known quality in AS. Is there a more straightforward method than clicking Preview’s UI buttons, etc.? I’m a pretty experienced programmer, but new to AS.

In which way do you want to select the nested folder?
In a script without any user interaction you must specify the destination location
