Web scraper?

Looking to create a script that will use Google to search for specific filetypes and save these file locally. Has someone already written something like this or can someone point me in the right direction? New to AppleScripting so please excuse me if this is really simple to do.

That’s a really broad request. Such as, what files you look for, where you want to save them, etc.
Can you be more specific and/or post anything you’ve tried so far.
