I know this isn’t exactly the right forum for this question, but none of the others seemed to fit any better.
When will http://www.osaxen.com/index.php list Mac OS X compatibility on the OSAX lists?
Most of the OSAXen there are pre-X only, but I know some of them have been updated for X, but it’s impossible to tell from the listings.
Ideally the search form should let you select Mac OS X or 9.x/earlier when searching for an OSAX, too. Would sure cut down my frustration with the site.
Who maintains that site? Are they listening?
Hi Camelot, as far as I know, all of the OS X compatible osaxen are listed at…
http://osaxen.com/modules.php?op=modload&name=osaxen&file=index&keywords=macosxfolder
Martin Fenner and Julio J. Sancho, maintain osaxen.com
Get osaxManager in the scriptBuilders section, it will give you all OS X osaxen that are available on osaxen.com
I’m one of the people mainting the site. As Greg said, we have a special listing for OS X scripting additions. I will think about other ways to show OS X compatibility in the next major revision of the database.
Thanks, mfenner.
The Mac OS X folder helps to a degree, but it’s not possible to search within a folder, so even if you’re looking at the Mac OS X folder you can’t find a Mac OS X-specific OSAX using the search field, you have to manually read each of the descriptions.
Here’s looking forwards to the update.
