While there is/was AppleScript 1.8.3, I don’t know if there was ever a Script Editor 1.8.3. I have SE 1.5.5 and 1.6 from my OS 8-9 days.
Thanks guys.
I downloaded the software and it installed OK, but I must’ve overlooked something…
On my Mac at work, which I’m certain is running AS 1.8.3 and SE 1.8.3, when I save as Run-Only I get 4 or 5 options, one of which is the option of saving as a Classic Application (or similar). This means that the script is forced to open in Classic - under Get Info there is no ‘Open in Classic’ checkbox because the application is treated as Classic-native not OS X-native with Classic compatibility.
For some reason I’m not getting this option on the new download!?
Any ideas what I’ve missed?
Many thanks,
Juerg
Be sure it is all on one line if you intend to click it, or cut and paste into your favorite ftp client or your browser.
