Where can i get the latest version of applescript?
When i try running the application “Split and Concat” i get a pop up message saying i need Applescript vers. 1.9.0 or higher that the current vers. is 1.1.0. I have spent almost 3 hrs searching and find it’s nowhere and why is it not part of or insalled as part of Tiger? I’m running 10.4.8 vers of Tiger.

AppleScript is not available separately; It’s just part of Mac OS X. However, if you have Mac OS X 10.4.8, then you do [currently] have the latest version of AppleScript (v1.10.7).
I would guess that the author of this application is checking for AppleScript v1.9.0 or later, but that the author’s current code is failing to properly compare “10” as being greater than “9.” (There was something added to AppleScript v1.10.0 to handle this very problem.) You should try to contact the author of this application and make him aware of your problems. Also, do you have a link to this application?
