do you know why with the same command, “get text from webpage” automator action, I get regular text on my powerbook g4 running 10.4.7 and I get chinese characters on my mac mini core duo running 10.4.8?
What language is selected in the International System Preferences under the Language button? What about the Input Menu button?
Both system preference panels for the international tab have english selected and us selected in the input menu.

The same problem happens on both my Macs. I never worried about it.
update: I think apple has fixed this bug. It now works correctly on my intel mac.
